They are the largest provider of physical activity programmes in Wyre. Our programmes have raised attainment in schools and helped people get healthier and become more active. In 2022/23 they delivered 36 different projects engaging with over 13,700 people across four programme areas; Sport, Health, Education and Inclusion.
It was calculated in 2021/22 that their services contributed towards an overall social value cost saving of £6.7million.

Trinity Hospice has provided excellence in specialist, compassionate care on the journey towards the end of life on the Fylde coast for more than 30 years, touching the lives of around 8,000 local people every year. Trinity helps people live life to the full, and live well right to the very end.
Demand for its care keeps on growing and its services continue to evolve to meet changing expectations.
Open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, Trinity is rated ‘outstanding’ and is proud of its modern facilities and high standards. But Trinity is more than a set of buildings – its nursing teams work at the hospital and out in the community day and night, covering every part of the Fylde coast.
It costs more than £9million to run all of Trinity’s services each year, which are provided completely free of charge to everyone who needs them. But with little help from the government, it must continue to call on its community – the people it cares for – for support.
Brian House is the only specialist children’s hospice for the Fylde coast, offering unique, expert care and support that makes a huge difference to the most seriously ill and vulnerable children in our community.
The purpose-built hospice, which forms part of Trinity Hospice, allows children with incredibly challenging medical needs and conditions to have the chance to live life to the full; to play and have fun as every child should.
Brian House offers respite care whether it’s for a day, a night, a weekend or even longer for local families, as well as group support for the whole family. Brian House is also there for expert end-of-life care and bereavement support.
All of Brian House’s services are provided completely free of charge to every family which needs them, but with running costs of more than £1.4million and little help from the government, it relies on the support and generosity of people and organisations in the community.
Counselling in the Community is a mental health service offering adult, children and young persons’ counselling to Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. These are areas where it can be difficult to access mainstream services and private counselling can be costly. CITC offers help with a self-referral counselling service.
